Going Away Party at Copper Bar!

Wednesday night my family threw a great going-away party for me at Copper Bar! There were so many people there! ((See the Group pic below)).... Thank you to everyone for coming out! I had a great time and was honored to have so many people show up!

The night was a formal event! Hahaha* My bestest friends dressed up for the party! Stephanie, Jenny, and I all wore our prom dresses from our JUNIOR YEAR of high school! Bridget and Amanda opted for the more fashionable 80's prom dress look! We all looked hot as usual... haha* Look for these dresses to show up again at my wedding! ((These four girls are part of the seven bridesmaids!!)) I wouldn't have it any other way!

Another suprise of the evening was when my Grandma Crowley showed up! She was supposed to have already left for Wisconsin, so we had gone out to lunch Tuesday so we could say goodbye! I was so happy that she was there! I look up to my Grandma so much! She is such an amazing person and I want to be her when I grow up! :) I consider her one of my closest friends! I can tell her ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING goes with this Grandmother-Granddaughter duo! haha* Sorry about that sometimes, Grandma! :) I love you so much! Thank you for coming to the party!

Another one of my closest friends is my sister! Even though she wasn't quite legal, she came anyway! :) The pic below is of us making our regular face... This pic is proof I'm a great influence on her life.... haha* I love you, Kayla! I will miss you so much!!!!! PS: Try to take some pretty, smiling pics of yourself while I'm gone... We don't have too many of those anywhere... :)

And who could forget my Prince Charming? The pic below is of him putting my tiara ((From Sr. Prom)) on me before we left for the evening! Of course I'm going to miss him! Only 14 weekends apart! I love you, Mark!

Friday's the BIG DAY!!!!

My Grandma Crowley had a going away lunch for me at her house yesterday! We had a lot of GREAT food and had great company as well! I really appreciated everyone showing up! I had a lot of fun talking to everyone and seeing some of you guys for the last time before I leave..

This week is filled with 'going-away' stuff! Today is my last day in Medical Records... My mass email is below:

Claudia hit the nail on the head! I think that just may have been one of the only times in my life that I was speechless [When I got your card] ! Thank you all so much for everything! It seems like just yesterday I was ten years old coming in to catch up some Microfilm for ROI... haha* That was probably illegal, Pam! :)
When I [legally] started here when I was sixteen, I had no idea I would be here for SIX YEARS! Wow! I was so immature and dumb! I guess I haven't come too far! haha* Really, though, I have done a great deal of maturing in this six years and I thank all of my "Moms" for keeping me on track, giving me advice and feeding me homemade meals.... [I was always the one to bring canned corn for carry-ins!]
I leave for the Czech Republic on Friday at 6:30 pm. I fly from Indy to Detroit, Detroit to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Prague. I'll then take the train from Prague to the city where my school is, Brno. The university I'm attending is Masaryk University ( http://www.muni.cz/ ). Also, Virjean suggested keeping a small journal of my travels. While I will keep a small notebook with me to write down stuff wherever I go, I am also keeping an online 'blog' updated. That website is: ( http://yearinthelifeoftiff.blogspot.com/ ). I don't know what life is going to be like without my Medical Records family. All I know is I loved [almost] every minute I spent here! :)- Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers over [at least] this next crazy 365 days! It's going to be a wild year!
I hope to see you all Wednesday evening at the Copper Bar! It is at 810 Wabash in Terre Haute. The whole upstairs is rented from 7:00 until 10:00! Please come out if you can! It should be a great time! :)

I am going to miss my Medical Records family so much! I cannot believe I have been there six years! That department is FILLED with AMAZING people, most of whom I have come to know and love. What an incredible experience I had at Union Hospital!

Tonight I am going to Tumbleweed for $0.99 Margaritas with the fam! It should be a good time! Then Tuesday Mark and I are having lunch with Grandma Crowley, Grandma Foster and Mom. Then we are going to visit his Grandma Haase. Then to see our beautiful new neice!

Wednesday night is going to be crazy! I hope everyone can come out to the Copper Bar! There should be a good crowd! :)-
