Off.....
Mark and I have a SUPER BUSY weekend!!!!!
Last night, Paul, Brandi, and Gavyn came over for dinner. We watched the Colts win and clench a Playoff spot! Superbowl, here we come!! :)
Tonight, we are meeting some friends downtown. It is Mike (Jade's bf) 24th birthday. We are going to din din at Rock Bottom Brewery, then to Crackers Comedy Club, then out for a fun night on the town! I'm super excited because Jen is in town from a long semester at Chiropractic school!! I miss that girl so much!
Tomorrow night Mark and I are going to an Ugly Christmas sweater party! That should be a lot of fun! Then we are going to head to Broadripple to go out with some of the people from the party! It should be a great time! I'm sure we will have plenty of pictures to share! :)
We are completely done with our Christmas shopping, so that is nice! AND I don't have to work this weekend! Ahhh.... I s0o0o0o0 ready for that!!
Can't wait to update tomorrow!
xoxo from Indy!

Last Night on the Cruise....

And drank
There was a party at one of the clubs on the ship.... you were only supposed to wear your robe to the party... So Mom, Dad, Mark and I did.. we were the only ones there...
That didn't stop us from having a good time though!

haha* too much fun!
There are some GREAT videos that go along with this picture! hahahaha*

This was a picture of something Mark found in an ashtray at the bar... we don't think it was a cigarette if you know what I'm sayin.....
I drank Pilsner the whole time we were on the cruise! It was more expensive and I got less than if I would have ordered a Bud Light.. but it was CZECH BEER! How could I resist?!?! :)

Dad hitting Mom with his robe.. True love
Not sure what they are reading here.....
Cheers to the last night on the ship... They are smiling even though they are oh so sad.......

The video below is of our crew hanging out on the last night of the cruise.... There was a screen that would play beach scenes and instrumentals of songs.. I couldn't believe the song it was playing that night! "MY HEART WILL GO ON" FROM THE MOVIE TITANIC!!
ON A CRUISE SHIP!??!?!? NOT SO COMFORTING!!!!
This is a video of the crew hanging out on the deck the last night of the cruise.... Bitter Sweet... Such a GREAT TIME.....
Pisa Baptistry
In the Baptistry at Pisa, we heard a girl sing like the old days.. It was beautiful.. and I was there to catch it on camera! :)
At Ho0o0o0o0o0o0me!
Mark and I are working hard to decorate our house and to get settled into Indy. The picture of us in front of the Eiffel Tower was made into a poster and is now hanging over our bed! It is really cool! Mark worked hard to frame and hang the picture. Then he hung out with it while he watched TV.

My new Rotation

In January I switch departments. I will be in four different departments in two years. That is part of the job. And one of my favorite parts! I get to see so much of the organization in two years! It is a great opportunity!
Currently I am in Departmental Reporting. It is a very demanding job. I have learned sooo much since I have been in the Department. The people there are absolutely amazing! It is a great team atmosphere and I will really miss the people I work with!
In a month, though, it will be time for me to move on. I will be part of SAO Accounting in the Foreign Military Sales division! I am super super excited!! FMS isn’t a demanding rotation as far as my time goes. That will make it a nice change from Departmental. I hear that it is a fun rotation and that I will learn a lot. I am very excited about the change.

Florence
Let me just start off by telling how appalled I am that I have yet to finish my honeymoon blogging yet. I think subconsciously it is because finishing my blog about it would mean that the trip is officially in the past… over.. and that, my friends, makes me oh so sad. But all is okay, as I know this was certainly not our last major trip. Hardly… haha S0o0o0o0o0o0o….. save the best for LAST
ITALY WAS AMMMAAAAZZZZIIIINNNNGGG……
Mark and I woke up super early to catch our bus in Florence. It was soooo worth it. The ride to the center of Florence was about two hours or so. The drive was beautiful. I have to say that I learned a great lesson while I was visiting places all over Europe this spring semester. DON’T FALL ASLEEP IN BUSSES! The bus ride is just as exciting and beautiful as the destination itself. In many cases, it is much more the ‘real deal’ as opposed to the stupid ‘touristy’ site you are on your way to visit. This apparently was not one of those places that I applied my knowledge. I fell back to sleep almost as soon as I got on the bus. Mark has the most comfortable shoulders ever. Haha* s0o0o0 he took many pictures of the Italian countryside while I slept soundly on his chest. ((soundly = snoring and drooling….)) how romantic... haha*
Florence was beautiful. The traffic was all kinds of crazy, but the town was beautiful!! There is a saying that Italians are the worst drivers. I beg to differ. Mark is the worst driver ever. He is always ‘hugging the line’ and not even caring. He says just because he hasn’t been in any wrecks means that he is a good driver. I.do.not.think.so…..
