HEALTH: In all that I do. I want to stay physically and emotionally
fit my entire life. I run and work out often. I choose to maintain
relationships in my life with people who I am very proud to call
friends. Health is a very important part of my life.
FAITH: I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me. I believe strongly in the power of prayer. I know that nothing in
my life will happen that I cannot handle with God on my side.
UNENDING OPTIMISM: One of my favorite quotes is, "Life is too short to
be sad, mad, or boring." I was the one who said it. I love it and will
live by it. I always try to find the good part of a situation. I have
yet to come to a situation in my life where I couldn't use my unending
optimism.
TRAVEL: For a 22 year old woman, I have seen a lot of the world. I am
very blessed to have these amazing opportunities in my life. I have
traveled from Hong Kong to Athens, Greee and lots of places in between.
I plan to travel for the rest of my life. After teh European Honeymoon,
Mark and I will start saving totravel to Egypt and Israel. We will se
Bethleham and Jeruselum soon.
ENTERTAINING PEOPLE: I will do next to anything to get a laugh out of
someone. I love the beautiful sound of someone laughing. I don't care
if the laughs are with me or AT me: As long as I hear the laugh.
FAMILY: I am so blessed with the perfect family. Each of my family
members is my best friend. My sister and I used to fight over clothes.
I must add that our wardrobe at teh time consisted of silk shirts and
green jeans. That phase is over and we are closer than ever. My little
brothers are getting to the point where they are not so little. It is
extremely important to me to be a strong influence in their lives as they enter these teenage years. High school can be rough. I want to be always available to help them. ... Except I won't buy them booze.
LIVING: I want to be able to say I have lived life to the fullest. Life is such a gift and I never want to miss an opportunity to do something. I can be easily convinced to go somewhere or spend time with others because I never know which minute will be my last.
RESPECT: Respect is so important. I think everyone has the right to be treated fairly. I have a huge issue with people who have stereotypes or prejudices about a person or group. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and never judge others from ignorant ideals. After living in Europe this semester, I have come to understand that people and cultures are different. Instead of judging people's thoughts or actions, I want to learn why they think/say/do that. Everyday is a learning experience. I learned so much about people and life this semester, especially that everyone deserves R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
INDIVIDUALISM: I know I am different from others and am very proud of that. I have my own thoughts and ideas. I am not normal in any way shape or form. (If you know me, you would agree!) :) I love it!!!
