More Clubbing.......

Steph, Kate, and I (and the leech) decided to go out. We were in freaking Vegas! How could we stay in? That just wouldn’t be right.. And there is going to be plenty of time to sleep when we die….

We went to Rum Jungle in Mandalay Bay, LAX in the Luxor, and the Cathouse Club that was also in the Luxor. They were not really that much fun and we were quite burnt out from going out CONSTANTLY the last three nights, so we went back to the hotel pretty early…. (1:30 or so…)

Watching fountains with a stage five clinger!

After dinner, we went to the Bellagio to see the fountains! They were beautiful and I am so happy that I saw them! On the way to see the fountains, we saw a Tiffany and Company sign… So my company and I got a few shots… J We are so silly… but I do love the pics!

We went back to the hotel to get ready to go out… really we were trying to get rid of the Stage 5 clinger that was following us around. It was one of the guys in the DJ booth from the night before. He even went out to dinner with us. The leech wouldn’t leave, so some of the girls decided to stay in.

Cirque Du Solei and Salmonella

That night Bridget, Steph, Kate, and I went to a Cirque Du Solei (Mystique) show. It was AMAZING! If you are ever in Vegas, this is a MUST SEE! There was so much going on at all times! Also, there were funny parts! That was the most surprising thing to me… I didn’t expect humor…

After the show, everyone met up at Toby Keith’s Bar and Grill. Mark has been to Vegas several times and this is his favorite restaurant to eat at. I have no idea why. It was loud and way too country for me… so I have no idea what my gangster fiancĂ© sees in it… the food made me kind of nauseated too… but I did have a club sandwich with tomatoes, which (I found out as I ate them) were recalled for Salmonella… Sweet….

We also learned about the power of cleavage! The fact that we had six girls in Vegas got us so many advantages! We didn’t pay for nearly ANY of our drinks and we always got VIP at the clubs! It was incredible! We will certainly be back!

Also with the power of cleavage comes the Diva Syndrome. Because we were getting VIP everywhere we went, we weren’t sure what to do when it wasn’t just thrown our way. For example, the next day we went to the MGM Grand because the day before we had been invited to the pool. When we got outside, we saw a sign that said, “General Pool Admission.” All of us looked around for the VIP sign, until we just decided to see where the first sign led us. Then I pointed out our Diva Syndrome… OF COURSE we were supposed to go the general pool admission! Who did we think we were?!?! Then we went to the line to get into the pool area… and were asked by the lifeguards if we wanted to go to the new VIP pool and have a Queen Bed to lay out on…. For free… we said yes… Diva Syndrome was back on…..

Wet Republic was the pool we went to. It was ridiculous! We literally layed out in the sun on a queen bed nicer than the one I use at home! There were chairs in the pool so you could lounge in the water. We had a waitress to get our (expensive) drinks. We sunbathed and played some water volleyball all day! It was so much fun!

Funny Funny....

Oh! I didn’t mention the restaurant that Kate and I saw on the way to the club! It was called Ping Pang Pong! What a funny name! It was great to say! We were trying to come up with a good meaning for it, but just couldn’t get past how fun it was to say to people!

Also on our Vegas vacation, we were able to learn about the power of tone. For example, the phrase, “Nice Asshole!” could be interpreted several different ways. Here are two: If you do something stupid, your friend might say, “Nice, Asshole!” But the phrase could be taken a completely different way if you bend over and someone with a good view says, “Nice Asshole!”… Same phrase, completely different tones, completely different meanings! J

Bachelorette Partah!!!!

So I took some shots from my diamond ring shotglass and headed to the club with the girls. At the Palms, we were getting our VIP bracelets when two girls came up to me and asked if my friends and I wanted to have a reserved table in the DJs booth. I asked the girls and we immediately said yes. We went to Club Moon at the Palms and were in a private booth in the middle of the dance floor. We had our own waiters/waitresses and had a baracade around us so no one else could get in.. they could only watch how much fun we were having. And boy did we have a lot of fun!

I had a list of crazy Bachelorette party things to do and I tried to do some of them, like talk to thee hairy men or sing “How do I live” to three others, but the DJ booth hindered my performance. There is a pic of me singing my heart out to some random guy. Right after the picture was taken, a guard shooed him away because he was too close to me…. Because I was the rockstar in the DJ booth! J haha* So the Bachelorette party list was a bust, but we certainly got our crazy night in Vegas! We all had a BLAST that night! ((and every night, for that matter!))

After dinner, Jade, Kate, and I wanted to ride the roller coaster that went around the New York New York hotel. Before getting on the ride, we listened to the music that was playing in the background to get us pumped for the coaster. Until Kate realized the song was “How do I live” by LeeAnn Rimes… haha* Not exactly the song that you would expect to hear right before riding a roller coaster that flips and turns around a huge casino on the Las Vegas Strip at night! So I began dancing and prancing around and asking people if they were READY!?!?! They just nervously chuckled and probably reconsidered their decision to ride the coaster with me… It was really fun though! Well worth the FOURTEEN dollars we paid each! Haha

When I got back to the hotel with Jade and Kate, Bridget instructed all the girls to go into the other hotel room we had for a surprise. Bridget is always doing goofy, funny, and special things, so I didn’t really think anything about it. Until I walked in.. and saw everything you could possibly IMAGINE for a Bachelorette Party! I’m going to only show pics of that stuff…. Haha* no explanations needed! J It was so funny because earlier that day I had made a comment that the trip didn’t feel like a bachelorette party to me, that it felt like a vacation with my bestest friends and I was sooo happy that we could all be together. Little did I know that I would have to wear a veil and BAchelorette Sash to the Club at the Palms that night!

Lots of Vegas....

Sunday Bridget and I drove to Indy together. Amanda was feeling sick and Steph needed some more time to pack. The other girls and I stayed at Jade’s house in Indy. We woke up at 445 am on Monday. We left at 5:30. Our flight left at 6:45. Jade lives 10 minutes from the airport. The airport was terribly (and unexpectedly) busy. Amanda didn’t end up coming because she was still feeling sick. She was actually headed to the ER instead of Vegas.

Jen and Jade ended up missing the flight. I got on the plane last, right after the stewardess announced my name for last call. Whew. I bought the four of us screwdrivers (orange juice and vodka) as soon as we got on the plane. And then there were four…

Once in Vegas, I realized that my camera was not working! Great! So I had to rely on the other girls to take all the pictures! They took so many! ;) We layed out the entire day! We walked to Excalibur to at least Czech out one Hotel. We knew we were going to have fun!

While laying out, we met Patrick. He was reading a book on Autism and I started to talk to him about my sister and her strong interest in the topic. Turns out he runs mini marathons in Las Vegas! He seemed like a pretty cool cat! Patrick became even cooler when he wanted to go out to the club at the Mirage (Club Jet) that night. He bought a limo so that we could pick up Jen and Jade from the airport. After very little convincing, they came out with us! ;)

We got VIP at Club Jet at the Mirage. We didn’t pay the $41 cover. We didn’t wait in the line with the AT LEAST 500 other people. We walked right on in… We were getting big heads… already… limo to the club, VIP at the club, free drinks at the club…..oh yeah… and Lil Jon as our DJ!!!! We got into Lil Jon’s VIP booth and had a great night!

I ended up sleeping two hours on Monday night. Jen, Jade, and I woke up and went to the pool to lay out. When the other girls woke up, we went across the street to the MGM Grand so Steph could get a new do. Let me just let it be known that I have known Stephanie since I was a little tater tot at Rio Grande Elementary. She has ALWAYS had beautiful long brown hair. I experienced the most dramatic transformation ever in Vegas that day! And wow does she look gorgeous! Bridget got to cut the ponytail while we shed tears.. It was a little dramatic, but I felt like a piece of my friend was dying. Love the new do, Steph!

After the cut, we walked around to some of the casinos in Vegas. I’m not really into doing much tourist-like stuff, so it was okay to me. I saw some of the hotels, but I was mostly interested in the clubs at night!

Tuesday night, we had dinner at a restaurant at the Excalibur called Dicks. If you have never been to Dicks, you should be warned. They (the waiters) are really mean to you and there is cursing and cat calling. It’s bizarre, but that is what the restaurant is known for. I got the craziest and (first) lap dance of my life! I also got a very classy hat made for me…. Yikes…..

So I suck

I am quite aware that I SUCK when it comes to blogging.. I am going to talk about my Vegas adventure and then update you on the last month of my life..... First Vegas though.... ;)
