Colts Vs. Titans

Markie and I were so sad to see what was left of the RCA Dome herself..... :-(

Waaahhhhhhhh**** :-(

I hated this guy for two reasons:
(1) He is a Titans Fan
(2) He is ULTRA creepy
Poor Girl.....

Coach Manning with Sorgi
I was s0o0o0o0o excited to see that the halftime entertainment was my favorite that the Colts offer!!! I saw this type of halftime entertainment in the preseason.... Little League versus the Mascots... LOL.... I took a few videos too.. haha*

<3> Oh my gosh! This was sooooo funny! The mascots were attacking eachother... Czech out the video below!! :-)

Christmas at SUMC Christmas Eve

Speaking of traditions, I love this one! Kevin and Michelle sing a song they wrote every year at midnight mass at our church! My family LOVES the song and cannot wait to hear it each year! Nathan taped it for me this year! It is such a beautiful song and they have amazing voices! Thanks again Kevin and Michelle!

Last year, I taped the other tradition at midnight mass. The Christ Candle is lit and is passed around the congregation. At the same time, everyone sings Silent Night. It is such a beautiful tradition at Christmas Eve. MmMmMmMm…….

Serving at the Lighthouse Mission Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, Mom and her children went to serve dinner at the Lighthouse Mission in town. The public and the residents were very thankful of our service. There were plenty of children there who were very grateful for the food as well.

This was the first time my brothers have served at the Mission. I do not think it will be their last time. I really think it touched them and I know it was really important for them to see others in need while they ask for so many toys and clothes for Christmas. These people were thankful for FOOD. I think my Mom was very proud of us kids on Christmas Eve. It would be great to make some sort of tradition out of the service. It made us all feel so good….and grateful!

Christmas at Tammy’s on Christmas Day

One random note from when we had Christmas on Christmas Day at Tammy’s……She made Eggnog to share with everyone. I tried it. I’m not a big fan. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about trying new things and being festive… but one thing I am NOT all about is drinking SNOT on purpose….

Tammy and Ron really liked the eggnog. They had a LOT of it. There was a cutoff time though…. We were all playing twenty questions in the living room. Sarah and I were eating fresh veggies and pickles. Tammy walked past us to go to the bathroom. She saw what we were eating and said these words:
“MmMmMmMm….. Pickles! I bet that would go great with my Eggnog!”
….
And so she was cutoff…..

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

Speaking of nights out with friends, the next night, Kari invited Mark and I to her house in BroadRipple for an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. We couldn’t resist. Mark and I headed to Goodwill and bought the best Christmas Sweaters ten dollars could buy! Mark chose a blue turtleneck with snowflakes. I opted for a more fashionable look: XXL Velvet Green sweater topped off with jingle bell Christmas earrings. We knew our looks would be quite a hit.
This is the point of the story where I explain how we know Kari. Kari went to school with my best friend, Kate. Kate and Kari were also in the same sorority. When Mark and I went to IU to party with Kate, we would end up partying with Kari. We were invited to Kari’s house last summer with Kate for a pool party/luau. And, this time, we were invited to a Christmas Sweater Party hosted by Kari. …And there would be no Kate…

Mark and I realized that we would know NO ONE at the party except the host. We were discussing this on the way. Would we be the weird couple in the corner talking amongst themselves because they didn’t know anyone? Would we be the couple people talked about for being such weirdos? Were we possibly on an episode of candid camera and were actually about to attend a black tie affair? We didn’t know. Since we discussed it beforehand, we vowed to make lots of friends and have fun with them regardless of whether or not they liked us.
So it went down like this:
Kari [wearing a sweater with Christmas kittens]: Hey guys! Glad you could make it! I love the outfits!
Mark: We are glad we could come! Thanks for inviting us! Where is the keg?
Me: Love the outfit. (Thinking: I’m glad we aren’t on candid camera.)
[Kari pointed to the keg]
….and so it began….

We hung out in the corner for about a minute of awkardness until we realized we were right by the beer pong table. And so we got the party started and the beer a-flowin after that!
Turns out, Mark and I ended up winning four games of beer pong in a row and losing two games of flippy cup. Abby ended up meeting us at Kari’s. She was nervous because she didn’t know anyone! We put her mind to ease by informing her that WE DIDN’T EITHER!!! Haha*

Mark, Abby, and I ended up going to Peppers, a bar nearby. We sloppily danced with more strangers before calling it a night. Overall, it was quite a success!
The whole weekend’s events truly made me realize how great Mark and I are together! We have fun when no one else is around! Can you imagine us when we are eighty??!?! Oo0o0o0o00o man!

Mike’s 24th Birthday Bash

Last LAST Friday night, Mark and I met some friends downtown to celebrate Jade’s boyfriend, Mike’s 24th birthday! The 25 of us met at Rock Bottom to eat.

Then moved to Crackers Comedy Club for some laughs. It was a great show, but one of the girls in our party just wouldn’t shut up! She was the one at comedy clubs who talks to the comedian! I wanted to stand up and punch her right in the nasty thirty year old ovaries, but restrained myself when I realized SHE was with US… embarrassing! She didn’t ruin the show that much, but I certainly wish I could have given her one good Juno Chop to the forehead….

Afterwards, we all went to Have a Nice Day Café, which is a club downtown. It was a lot of fun. Jen, Mark, and I were the only ones from our crew who wanted to dance, so my husband, best friend, and I went straight to the dance floor and rocked out! Mark went to the bar for a while to be with the boys and Jen and I stayed out on the floor. Any time a creepster of the month would come up and try to dance with us, we would leave. Wouldn’t you think the wedding ring would be a deterrence?!?! What the heck, fellas?!?! But I was there to dance with my husband! … …
Until I saw him… there he was, getting his grind on…. The man himself… Santa Claus…. What girl doesn’t dream of shaking her booty on the one guy who gave her all kinds of presents annually? Haha* Saint Nicky was ‘getting it’ and was surrounded by girls who felt the same way as I did… so I just took a picture.. It was great…
Jen ended up putting on my other ring to act like she was engaged too! It didn’t stop the boys.
Mark and I got into the club for free.. no five dollar cover for us! Military ID’s! Woot! Woot! Haha* Mark and I ended up being the last ones in our group left at the club! We didn’t even realize it because we were dancing all night!

When we left Have a Nice Day, we walked across the street to say our goodbyes to the RCA Dome. It was about three in the morning. She was going to be blown up at nine that morning. We took a few horrible pictures with her and headed home.
I am referring to the RCA Dome as a girl because I think she was female. I think Lucas Oil Stadium is definitely a male. It is huge… Ginormous…. Loud… Male… I would like to think the RCA Dome and Lucas Oil had a ‘thing’ for a while… The Colts wouldn’t allow it… and they blew her up…..

It was a great night out with friends!

Rome

Our last stop on our honeymoon was Rome, Italy. Unfortunately, the only thing we saw was the airport. We are not counting this city as one of our stops. We will for sure return to Rome one day! Mark and I would love to see the Coliseum and everything else that Rome has to offer.

We were sad for our honeymoon to be over.....
My new husband!
Dad eating pizza in Rome!
Mom eating pizza in Rome!
Markie eating pizza in Rome!
ME eating pizza in Rome!
My husband writing in our honeymoon journal
Sleeping on the plane... seriously.... this is how i sleep.....
Believe it or not, he is asleep here tooooooo... :-)

Overall, our trip was absolutely incredible! BEST HONEYMOON EVER!! :D

Saturday- Christmas At Grandma Crowley's

Saturday we all went to Grandma Crowley’s to celebrate Christmas. Before we went, Dad had us scratch off the lottery tickets he bought earlier that day… sixty bucks worth…..

They totaled $115 in winnings! Nice!
I’m pretty sure my Dad is Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite. He is the only person I know who would wear a tank top in December in Indiana. And I sure do love him for it. Czech out the video below to see more proof of my Uncle Rico theory:

Erik Christopher [three weeks old] is our newest cousin! Aaron, Laura, and sister Trista couldn’t be happier!
I have a slight obsession with baby feet. S0o0o0o0o I had to take a picture. To show how little his feet are, I put my thumb up to Erik’s little tootsies! He better watch out, though! I’m pretty sure I am going to eat them the first opportunity that I get!
Jeremy sure loves Santa!
I heart my boys!
I love this picture of my Dad. He sure is handsome!
Speaking of handsome, Czech out the fox on the left! Haha*
Remember two pictures ago when I said I love my Dad? This is another reason I love him! I know that I can capture random candid moments with him and food…. And they will crack me up for the next hundred years… Here is an example of Dad and his turkey leg….
The gang’s all here! Czech out that fam!
Grandkid picture from shortest to tallest…. I’m in the middle and everyone to my right is YOUNGER THAN ME….
Proud Grandma!
Grandma and her baby girls! They are all so pretty!
Love them!
Mark giving Trista [our flower girl] a high five! He is going to make such a good dad! … in seven years!....
for now he just makes an excellent husband!
The Alexander-Baker Crew!
Kayla and Jeremy are TOO CUTE
Mark and Trista! (with a little Aunt Cheryl in there too!)
If Mark gets a picture with Trista, I do tooooooooo!!!
The Johnsons from Wisconsin! They couldn’t believe the weather! Haha*
I heart my sister!
Taylor the monkey
The Cox family
I love my baby brother!!!
Mark loves to play football with his father in law!
I tried to play football too! Dad said he would give me fifty bucks if I caught a ball he threw! How could I resist? Needless to say, I caught the rocket. And here is a picture of me afterward… I’m pretty sure a bone was broken in the process.. that fifty bucks will have to go to medical bills…..
I think I have a slight obsession with this little girl! She is just too precious not to looooove!
In the Dirty Santa gift exchange, Ryan got Mark’s gift… Sunglasses that had an mp3 player in them…. He liked them!
Watch out, ladies, he’s taken….
Grandma let us all choose a hat that Grandpa wore. I was really happy to have that! We all took pictures in our hats afterward! Love you Grandpa Crowley! I can’t believe it has been three years!
Kate and I met some friends out on the town later that night. I was showing them my new license as Tiffany Baker. I proceeded to inform them that there is a new law in place where you cannot show your teeth on your picture. You can smile.. but you can’t show your pearly whites.. or yellows… So I look like goof troop in my license picture…. To prove why I looked like such a dumbo dork, I had the guys act like they were getting their picture taken under the same circumstances…. Needless to say, I was happy with the results… This picture makes me feel much better about my lameozoid picture…. Haha*
Then I had them take one that wasn’t so geeky.
Kate and Mark danced at the Terminal.
Now there are two hottt people!
Speaking of hotties, I love Tim!! I miss him oh so much! We don’t see him a lot now that we are in Indy. And, yes.. you may have noticed that I didn’t take my Grandpa’s hat off all night…
I can’t believe how much Mark and Kyle look alike! I never noticed until I took this picture!
Derek, Mark, and Kyle apparently used to play rock, paper, scissors, all the time…. So, in their drunken stupor, wanted me to get a picture of them… oh sheesh….
Speaking of drunken stupor, I took Mark and Tim home not too much longer after the above pictures were taken. I was in the bathroom long enough to brush my teeth and wash my face. I came back to the room to find my husband setting his alarm. I thought he was asleep. He said he had only one eye open so that he could read the phone. It was too stupid of a situation not to capture on camera. Merry Christmas.
