AMAZING FIRST DANCE

Then it was time for the bride and groom’s first dance.. which is USUALLY a great time for a bathroom break….EXCEPT for this wedding… ;) Mark and I rocked the dance floor with a remix that included:
Aerosmith: Don’t wanna Miss a Thing
Justin Timberlake: My Love
Grease: You’re the One that I want
And
Michael Jackson: The way you make me feel
Words cannot describe how much we ROCKED the dance floor! The element of SURPRISE was ALL KINDS OF AMAZING! For those of you who were able to witness the AMAZING event…. YOU ARE WELCOME… ;)

SPEECHES.....

After the food came the speeches! Andy gave a speech about how absolutely amazing Mark and I are as a couple… He is totally right.. J haha… Then, Kayla talked about funny stories, including the time she asked me if she should smile before she walked onto the bus her first day of middle school. Then Tom gave a very touching speech about Mark and I… He was the one who was able to finally bring tears to my eyes… He was very emotional as well… We thank all three of them for making such great speeches! Xoxo

LET'S EAT!

We ate after that! The food was ALL KINDS OF amazing! My cousin, Aaron, did an amazing job with the food! He had so much help including my aunts, cousins, family, and Grandma… They were all an integral part of helping set up the reception and the food! I love you all!! Mark and I thank you sooo much for helping to put on such an AMAZING party!

LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!

The wedding party was introduced at the reception to “Jump On It” by Sir Mix A lot.. It was hilarious! They all did the dance and stayed on the dance floor! Then, Mark and I were announced as husband and wife to “Let me Clear my Throat” and we started dancing with the wedding party. It was a great way to start the reception!

Our ride...

We drove to the reception with Tim. Mark and I hadn’t planned on driving in a special car on the way to the reception because we didn’t think this was a very ‘cool’ tradition… Tim thought differently… he decorated his car so that we could ride from the ceremony to the reception in STYLE! Thanks so much for that, Timmy!!! It was amazing! ;)

Wow...

Mark and I spent the next forty minutes thanking people for coming! We were both amazed at how many people came to our CEREMONY! We are estimating over three hundred! Wow! Thank you all for coming and sharing our special day!!!

One last surprise.....

We were announced husband and wife and walked down the aisle. Dason (our Videographer) told us to stop at the back door and watch.. I am SO HAPPY we did! Our ENTIRE wedding party had planned to do a crazy dance as they walked down the aisle! This was a COMPLETE surprise to us and we loved every minute of it! It was a GREAT way to end our ceremony and start our reception!

Minty Fresh

I have to add something about the ceremony…. When Jack said, “You may kiss the bride…” Mark and I freshened our breath by Kayla and Tom giving us some sprays of Spearmint Breath Spray… It was amazing.. I’m not sure if it got a laugh from the crowd because it is such a blurry moment to me, but I do know the next part got a laugh….. Kayla and Tom both gave Jack a spray of freshener… haha* except Tom sprayed him RIGHT IN THE EYE!! Hahahahhahaha* Poor guy!
So Mark dipped me down and I kissed my husband for the first time! This kiss was quite a blur to the both of us, but it is still something that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Blur.....

I will be honest… The ceremony is an absolute BLUR. I have no idea what happened and I think that is how every bride should be. I cannot wait until the wedding video to see every detail of the wedding. I do remember at one point the entire crowd starting laughing. I expected laughter at our wedding ceremony, but not at this point….. I got nervous at that point and watched my actions. I realized later that the reason for their laughter was my EXCITEMENT!! Apparently, I was jumping up and down, waiting for Jack to announce Mark and I as husband and wife.
