COLTS

So0o0o0oo0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o00o0o the FIRST home game in LUCAS OIL STADIUM was this Sunday evening! s0o0o0o0oo (naturally) Mark and I had to go!!! It was AMAZING to be there! The stands were packed and the stadium was freakin incredible!!! Let's start at the beginning.. We tailgated with some friends in the parking lot before the game... that was a lot of fun because the news team was right beside us. At one point, some people got interviewed, they taped some people playing cornhole, and watched all of us booze.
When we got into the stadium, it was PACKED!!!! We were handed programs and certificates that announced we were at the first game EVER at LUCAS OIL STADIUM! It just set the mood! So did the seven dollar beer! haha*
There was a place where you could act like you were in the press box after the game.. which we of course took advantage of...
Then we finally got into the action.. The roof wasn't open and that made us cranky. Then there was an announcement that they were going to open it up. We all FREAKED OUT!!! It was s0o0o0 exciting to watch it open! It only took a minute and it got us all very excited for the season to begin!
Our friends have season tickets and most of the people at the game were only at the stadium to see it.. So we sat with them, instead of our assigned seats... The game was a preseason game and there weren't too many people watching, compared ot the number of people walking around. We watched the game. The Colts essentially got stomped, but we stayed all four quarters and cheered on our team!
Overall, it was a great way to start the season! I'm sure this isn't the only game Mark and I will be attending... :)

IMA

Mark and I went to IMA (It's My Art, Indianapolis Art Museum) on Sunday... We were in our Colts gear because we were going to the game later that day.. and we live in INDIANAPOLIS and pretty much got high fived the entire day.. I LOVE this town!! :) We saw some amazing furniture that we would FOR SURE purchase if we were worth billions.. Unfortunately, we just took illegal pictures.. :) We both really liked the African exhibit... BY FAR, our favorite piece was from Asia.. It was a statue of a man (we are pretty sure) doing the SPRINKLER dance move! Check it out! haha** There was also stuff from Greece and Egypt which are two places we for sure want to go in our lifetime. Africa is on the list as well. One of the coolest things to us was to see the religious artwork that dated back a thousand years. The same Bible stories that we learned were depicted on the artwork. Amazing. God is Good...

Overall, the trip to the museum was a lot of fun... AND WHO CAN BEAT FREE?!?!?!? :)

Hands off, Ladies.. He's Taken....

Check out MY man... Yummy....

Mr. and Mrs.....

CUTEST PICTURE EVER!!!

Now I am pretty proud of my picture-taking ability.. but check out this picture of Tommy B and his new BEAUTIFUL baby girl!!! AMAZING!!!! CONGRATS!!!!

*~*Twenty One*~*

Kayla and Megan came to Indy on Saturday!! It was a lot of fun! When they got to Nappy, Mark made Kayla go with him to buy some booze. She had been officially able to do so for a whole week and hadn't. So we changed that. Kayla bought her very first fifth. (Bacardi O)

Then we headed downtown to Jillians. It is three levels. The first is a bar/restaurant. Two brings an arcade. Finally bowling and pool are on top. We ate dinner then headed upstairs to bowl. After bowling, we headed over to Kathy Griffin at the Murat Theatre downtown. All of us looked hot. I'm not going to lie. I looked sexy. BUT I realized that none of us were getting checked out!! WHY NOT?!?!?! I then realized.. there were two types of guys at Kathy Griffin:

1) Those there with their girlfriends

2) Those there with their boyfriends

The only single guys there were checking out my husband's tush and not mine. Let's just say I steared clear of the women's restroom. Eekers. Kathy was funny and went for two hours which, toward the end, even wore me out. It was just fun to be downtown with my baby sis for the night! Then we went back to our apartment in Fishers to play some intense games of Kemps. The best comment of the night:

"Why did you try to go for Aces? There are only four of them!"

I won't even say who said it, because it is that silly.

We played Kemps until three in the morning before we finally called it a night. In the morning, Mark and I put on our Colts door and headed to Cici's pizza with Kayla and Megan/Ace for lunch before they were on their way back to the Haute.
I had a lot of fun this weekend with my baby sister! I cannot believe that she is twenty one already! Sheesh! I am really getting old, huh? :)
