Wednesday's Gratitude Journal: No News Days
I was listening to WBGL earlier and the only news was about the polls and about the first beagle to win a dog show.. Rachel and I were talking about it... I was laughing about how slow the news was and she commented that she likes it that way. She doesn't want to hear about bad things that happened... If the only thing the newspeople have to tak about is dog shows, that means nothing terrible happened back home... What a great way to think about it!! Yeah for slow news days!!!

wow, what an excellent way to think of things... It's funny how we kind of make fun of some of the stories that are in the news because they seem so dumb.. but you are so right, thank god there was nothing terrible to talk about in the news that day! :)
also, i dont know if you heard but there was another terrible shooting at an Illinois school this weekend, one of the teachers assistants hid behind a podium and shot at his geology class killing 5, wounding 16... really tragic and it's all over the news right now... make sure and keep that school and their families in your prayers... :(
