We hung out in Barcelona when we got there Monday morning. Our hostel was in the perfect location. It was in the middle of the strip. Right between a hot club and the pier. 
The strip was so much fun! There were so many people (we'll get to that later) and there were souvenir shops and artists and people dressed up. It was fun just to walk up and down it! There was a statue of Christopher Columbus right by the pier too!
Oh, did I mention there were palm trees?!?!?!?!?!
