From My Roomie

So0o0o0o, Rachel is my roommate from Brno... I miss her so much! We became really great friends this semester.... She has a blog too.... http://rachel-lyn-k.blogspot.com/.... On it she has a really interesting "about me" thing... I'm going to share it.... ((And when I get time, complete it myself!!)) Czech it out! ;)

8 things I'm passionate about:
My education
Politics
Women's rights
Good books
My future
Traveling
Good art
My Family

8 books I've read and enjoyed:
Twilight-New Moon-Eclipse
Queen of the Big Time
The Harem Years (SOOO cool! It's about the memoirs of one of the first Egyptian Feminists... Hudda was a COOL lady!! I HIGHLY recommend it!)
The Great Gatsby
The DaVinci Code
The Lovely Bones
Harry Potter (yeah, yeah.. I know)
The Memory Keeper's Daughter

8 Things or words I say often:
Oh my gosh!
Thank you
Please
OUCH! (I'm SO clumsy, I usually do something stupid to hurt myself daily!)
Ummmm
I have to study
Wow
No way- She/He's getting married?! I didn't know she/he was seeing anyone.... ((Seems like I say this almost daily now days...))

8 Things I want to do before I die (not in any order):
Go to Rome
Have a successful career
Become a senator
Become a mom
Finish Law School
Go to Paris
Go to the North Pole (I'm really not joking- and they have cruises... I will take one someday).
Establish a school for underprivileged girls in South America.

8 Things I have Learned (or remembered, again)
There are a lot of really great people on this Earth
To take more time for myself
It's my life- not my parents and I should stand up for what I want and my dreams a little more.
Traveling changes your life
It's important to do the things that you've always dreamed of doing. You never know if you'll be around or be well enough to have the same opportunity again.
That I've been a little too blessed... And I should give back.
God loves me. I always felt bad that I had a hard time with my family's religion and felt that God was mad at me because I couldn't accept everything... But I have come to realize that God loves everyone, including me, no matter what they believe! And I can still be a good person with out being super religious.
It's always good to take chances
