Mark's Favorite Stop- Lisbon, Portugal

Let's get this conversation started off right! I expected my favorite stop of our honeymoon to be Portugal because it just seems like a place not many people I know will want to visit in their lives. Turns out, I was taken ABACK from the Eiffel Tower and all that was Paris, France. So Portugal had a LOT to live up to. Like A LOT! Mark wasn't so sure what to expect from our journey to Lisbon, but he was excited... Turns out, this was his favorite stop. And for good reason. We did so much exploring and experienced the most breathtaking view we may possibly EVER see in our life. Portugal was AAAMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGG and I have a ba-gillion pictures to prove it. Here are my favorite twenty or so.... ;)Portugese flag at the castle we found. More on that later.
Shadow Picture in Lisbon... This one's for you, Tiff! :)

This is a statue that overlooks Lisbon. It is huge and beautiful! We could see it from wherever we were in the city!
There are so many words to describe how much I love this man. Nothing can take a girl away from her Daddy. Even her honeymoon.... :)

Mom and Dad: Happy in Portugal
Portugese Bliss

Love him too! ;)
This picture is just HILARIOUS to me!!!! When we saw the sign that said, "Happy End" Mark got excited and was ready to see what it was all about. This picture shows his deep thought about the happy end.... needless to say, his wife took a picture of the situation, and the two left together.

My Mom is soooo gorgeous. I couldn't help but take this picture of her on the streets of Portugal. Czech out that beautiful new scarf she picked up! ;)

Mark took this one... He thought it was hilarious that the statue had a bird on it's head.... haha*
Wow...... Happy to be a Baker

goodNESS that guy is hottttt... I had to take a picture... even if it was creepy....

Couldn't help taking a picture of this hotty too! ;)
There was a castle overlooking the entire city of Lisbon. Mark and I were bound and determined to figure out how to get to it. We split from Mom and Dad and wandered the city. Anytime that we saw a set of stairs, we headed up them... no matter HOW sketch they were!!!! Czech out this vertical alley! Here, I am looking at Mark saying, "It may be sketch, but I WANT TO SEE THAT CASTLE!!!" ;)

Once we got to the 'top,' we didn't know where to go. We could tell we were close though.... So we started following the GRAFITTI!!! Yep, you read right! We were in the sketchiest place ever following GRAFITTI to get to the castle! ;) TRUST ME!!! It was s0o0oo00o worth it!!

I started taking pictures of Mark in random phone booths when we passed them. Here, we had just found the castle... so Mark 'called' someone to tell about his excitement! .... And exhaustion...

Baker LoviN

If you have ever seen a bottle of Captain Morgan, this picture (and stance) makes a lot more sense.... My silly husband....

So0o0o0o happy to finally be at the castle
This picture pretty much encompasses all that was our feeling in Portugal.... Talk about cloud nine! Mark and I were absolutely SPEECHLESS when we saw the amazing view of the city and sea when we got to the castle..... What an amazing place.

SAFETY FIRST! This is Mark putting on sunscreen before we went into the castle. There was a guy walking past that said, "Making sure the bugs don't bite, huh?" My very quick husband said, "Nope. Making sure that sun doesn't bite!".... <3

Mark was like a five year old little boy. He was exploring everything and was absolutely giddy the whole time we were in Lisbon. In the castle, he was going EVERYWHERE!!!! In this picture, he is trying to get into a LOCKED door...... ;)

CAREFUL! :D

Hanging out on the stairs in one of the courtyards at the castle.
This picture is one of my favorites.
Or maybe it's this one..... hey! we are HONEYMOONERS!!! We are TOTALLY allowed to make out in a romantic castle in Lisbon, Portugal! :)
From the castle, Mark and I saw another HUGE building that we couldn't be in Lisbon and NOT see. so0o0o0o0o0oo, when we left the castle, we headed towards the other big, beautiful building. This is me telling Mark where to go. ;)

We made it!!!!!
IT WAS SOOOOO WORTH IT!!! Turns out that it was a montestary. Amazing!

Mark on the roof of the Montestary.

I really like this picture too!!!!

Taking in the view.....
I like this picture because it truly shows the SIZE of the building!!! Do you even SEE Mark?!?!?!?! :)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA*** WE COULDN'T RESIST!!!
This was one of the scariest alleys we went through.... ;)

We saw Mom and Dad drinking at a little cafe in the Portugese streets... ;)
So we decided to stop! ;)

My husband in LISBON!
