Friday

Why oh WHY did everyone go to Honey Creek Mall on Friday? The day after Christmas at the mall was absolutely ridiculous! I can’t believe that I was one of the crazies that was there!! Mom and I went to drop Evan off to meet his hot date. [he’s thirteen going on twenty two, you know]…. Then we found out Kayla and Jeremy were there too! We met up with them! While waiting in line for half price calendars, Mom took a picture of Kayla and I. Kayla put her hand on my tummy while I looked cranky. Kayla swears that I am going to tell them that I am knocked up any day now. I guess getting married just makes you more fertile. My thoughts are that even DISCUSSING [or blogging about] children makes a women’s ovaries get excited and ready. So0o0oo0, conversation OVER…..
Then I made Mom take a good one of my baby sister and I….. grrrrrr……..
We went home after the mall and played apples to apples. If you have never played, it is a word association game that is getting more and more popular. Kayla broke the chair that she was sitting in… (To her credit, they are FOR SURE on their last ‘leg’….) GET IT?!?! LAST ‘LEG’?!?! BAHAHHAHAHAAHA*
Anyhoo, Nathan told Kayla that she had a big butt. She got cranky and Mom made him take it back. So Nathan tried to negate the comment by informing his older sister that she didn’t have a big butt… in fact, she had a nice caboose. Which made the situation even MORE awkward… I would assume that you wouldn’t want someone to tell you your rear end is larger than life… but you certainly wouldn’t want your YOUNGER SIBLING to compliment your tush…..
The uncomfortable situation sure made everyone laugh pretty hard… But I took a sad picture with my sister anyways…
The game got pretty intense after that. This picture is from the last round…. Grandma and Jeremy were both SURE that they had won the game. S0o0o0o0 they both had their hand on the game-winning card. Kayla ended up choosing Grandma’s word. I think it might have had something to do with the crazy competition eye that my Grandma was giving Jeremy… Czech it out here… I mean, even I’m scared NOW!
