When I asked Mark if we could buy the tickets one evening last week, he said yes with one stipulation... we had to be able to go to a pub before the big event... I kindly agreed to the deal! So0o0oo0 we arrived to Conseco Fieldhouse forty minutes early. We walked to a pub across the street and ordered three drinks...each..... Then downed them as fast as we could.... I agreed to the deal, but my part was that we couldn't miss a thing!! :)
Six drinks later we were at Disney on Ice in our seats. There sure were lots of kiddies there! As soon as we were seated (and surrounded by children) we mentioned how CLUTCH it would be if they sold booze at the show.... Then the guy in front of us mentioned THEY DID! So I allowed us to miss the first part of the show in the name of Bud Select! haha* We got our overpriced booze and headed back to our seats!
The show was amazing! I got to hear all of my favorite Disney songs and see all my favorite characters! My favorite segment was Soulja Bois from Toy Story skated onto the rink. They said:
"I don't know but I've been told, skating on this ice is cold."
That made Mark and I laugh out loud. Then the break came. Mark and I had seen empty seats that were much better than ours on the other side of the building. So we headed that way. We acted like we owned the seats and just sat right on down. No one said anything to us! Then a guy selling snow cones came our way. Mark thought FOR SURE that he was going to say something to us... Mark's plan was to pay the guy off by purchasing as many snow cones as it took. haha*
Right before the show came back on, there was a PROPOSAL!!!! It was too cute! I'm glad we got to see it! Although it might be innappropriate, Mark and I gave each other a big fat kiss afterward! :) We also caught it on camera.. pretty standard for us... :)
Overall, the show was absolutely amazing! So is Mark! He definitely took one for the team for attending the event! Hey, in ten years, we should have a little tator tot that Mommy can take to the event! And she can't wait! :)
... but no pre-drinking that time.....
