Wow. Mark and I watched Passion of the Christ last night. Mark had seen it before, but this was a first for me!!! I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before.
I was absolutely impressed by the movie. It made me want to read the Bible to learn every aspect of the movie. What a crazy sacrifice God made for us! To give His only Son?!?! Wow. This film really followed Christ in his last hours before His death. The way He was treated gave me chills. And the love that He showed throughout the entire process made me love Him even more.
I’m not sure what age we will show this movie to our children, but it would be nice to make it an Easter tradition. It is so moving and really makes you think about Christ dying for our sins. And the best part is at the end of the movie…. (*spoiler alert*) CHRIST IS RISEN! CHRIST WILL COME AGAIN! ….AMEN!!!!
