“How do we get there?”

Mark and I were at our Little Brother’s house the other day. We were at his Mom’s house to pick him up. He was at his Dad’s.

We called his Dad’s house for the address. We were confident his Mom could tell us which way to go to pick him up.

Here’s how it went:

Mark: Okay, how do we get there?
Mom: Okay, which way are you going to go?
Mark: Whichever way you tell us.
Mom: Okay, ummm… Which road are you going to take?
Mark: Wait…ummm…okay…. What if we take 465?
Mom: Okay, oh….465…. so you are going to take 465….
Mark: How about this: how would YOU get there?
Mom: Oh, well that just depends on where I am.
Mark: ….Let’s pretend you are here….

Wow.

After she pretended she was at her apartment, we were able to get directions. After turning around a couple of times, we called my Mom to MapQuest the address.

We did find the house, but, lesson learned. No leaving the house without the GPS.
