Money cannot buy happiness. I had 139 work hours on my big fat paycheck
today. I don't care. I worked every day since I returned from my
honeymoon. Sometimes pulling 16 hour shifts. I'm not happy with that.
Fall is here! The leaves are changing and the wind is getting brisker.
I haven't seen the sun but through the large window from my cubicle. I
have experienced the month of October through this window. I'm not okay
with that.
The great part about my current position is the flexibility it provides.
There are four six-month rotations in different parts/departments of our
company. This is a great way to see various levels and pieces of the
organization. This is also a great way to ensure that you aren't stuck
in a job you aren't happy with... or a job where you work 22 days in a
row. I love the people I work with and I love the work that I do. I
just want to work eight hour days and see my new husband more than my
new co-workers. I rotate in January...
