Gratitude Journal: Hard Questions

I know I haven't done a gratitude journal in a while but it is because I have been gone so much! I have enough trouble updating the blog as soon as I get home in order to tell all about my trip! :) I have a really good one that I thought of while I was in Greece though! This one even made ME laugh out loud! I think if I ever ust up and decide to become a comedian, this will totally be part of my act... Here goes....

I am an accident. I always just assummed that I wasn't one until one day last summer. My mom and I were sitting at our kitchen counter. I knew my parents had gotten engaged at my mom's junior prom, but she didn't get knocked up until a year later, so I always thought it was legit... Back to the kitchen scene.... "Wait," I said.. "Was I an accident?".... To which my mom replied... "We....still....love....you!" Two things are terribly wrong here and I am going to explain for all of you you have had 'accidents.' One: ALWAYS tell your child that you planned them. You couldn't wait! Sheesh! Even JamiLynn Spears is going to tell her little rugrat that he/she was completely wanted! Totally planned! And no one is going to have the heart to tell the little nugget the truth....Except maybe his/her crazy aunt.. But that is another story..Let's move on to point two... If, for some reason, you decide to be honest (I wouldn't recommend it) don't have the same reaction as my mom! "Thanks Mom! I'm so glad you still like me after 22 years! Wow! How Great! I'm honored! Truly honored...." You would think a simple yes or no would have been accepted... I'm grateful for those hard questions and those uncomfortable situations that I put people in... The reactions are classic! And blog-worthy!
