Luggage

As you could tell from the video from the last post, I was very unhappy with the luggage that Mark bought me before I left... ((Not your fault, Markie!)).... The luggage wheels are raw and broken.. No wheels meant I was dragging the luggage through the airport and streets of Athens... The handle was broke and ripped as well. Nice... The luggage was from Wal-Mart. I wrote a letter to the company ((See below)) to get our money back. Wish me luck! I only took the luggage on the flight from the States to here and from here to Athens! Luggage is totally worth the splurge! My experience was all kinds of terrible! Waah!!

"To Whom It May Concern:

I recently purchased a set of Protege luggage from your store and am writing to express my deep level of discontent. I am a student studying abroad in the Czech Republic this semester. Prior to my departure, I purchased a seventy dollar five piece luggage set from the Terre Haute, Indiana store. I brought the two largest pieces for my study abroad adventure.

The luggage was used on two different occasions. The first was Indianapolis to Prague in February and the second was Vienna to Athens this past week. The luggage was unsatisfactory both times. In Athens, I discovered the reason for some of my problem: the wheels did not spin when I rolled it through the airport. Also, the luggage had already begun to rip. When I attempted to check my bag, the handle was stuck and a friend had to assist me to merely push it in properly.

I was near tears at the Athens airport yesterday. As a college student who was preparing to leave for three months, seventy dollars was a significant purchase decision. I trusted the quality and value I have come to respect from my Wal-Mart purchases.

I am very unsatisfied with my luggage purchase. I am unsure how I am going to continue to travel without my suitcases. I have travel plans for every weekend until I return home in May. I would hope there is some say your company could compensate for my predicament.

Thank you for your time,

Tiffany Alexander"
