The March family night was in Indy at the Pacers Game. We all met for dinner at Scottys Brewhouse before the game. Dad wore a schnazzy sport coat and SUNGLASSES into the restaurant. There were a couple other groups waiting and I'm pretty sure we got confused for someone else. This is why: We got seated in the VIP section.... In the back. With several waiters/waitresses... and a board room table... and office chairs... and a huge plasma TV..... oh... and complimentary appeztizers from the owner of the restaurant.
Apparently they thought we were the Manning, party of nine... :-)
Anyways, Dad went to the bathroom at one point and Jeremy had the idea to raise Dad's chair while he was gone. We all acted like we didn't notice. But that just didn't last long. It was too funny.
Of course, Dad sat at the head of the table, just like Donald Trump. He 'fired' us all several times throughout the evening.... :-)
